Each week, Macaroni KID Lakeland-Bartow-Mulberry shares our picks for five things to do with your kids in the area over the coming week. 

Here are this week's picks:

1. Veggies Are a Vital Nutrition Workshop

Join us at the Lakeland Public Library on Tuesday, January 7th from 10 AM to 11 AM to learn about nutrition with the Feeding Tampa Bay organization.

2. Jackson Jump Start

The Jackson Jumpstart program helps families build home libraries by giving away a free tote filled with books for preschoolers. January 9, 10-11 a.m.

3. Nuts about Nature

Join Bonnet Springs Park near the GiveWell Community Foundation Nature Center on January 11th from 10AM – 12PM.

4. Paint Along Saturday: Northern Gnome

Let your creativity flow at this fun in-person event at the Mulberry Cultural Center . Get ready to paint a charming Northern Gnome masterpiece with step-by-step guidance. No experience necessary. January 11, 10:30a-1p.

5. Steam Saturdays

Today's session of STEAM Saturdays will focus on the "S" and "A" of STEAM. We will be creating our very own Puffy Snow Paint and creating Snowmen or any winter scene you feel inspired by. January 11, 11a-12p.
