We had so much fun with the Boo Basket project, we're hoping to continue the fun with the "You've Been Elf'd" project this holiday season! But we need local businesses to help.
We are looking for sponsors for our "You've Been Elf'd" project. Do you own a local business? We'd love for you to join us. Just email me at amandaswank@macaronikid.com to get the ball rolling and get in front of thousands of local families as a sponsor of this fun holiday-themed giveaway.
What does it mean to be Elf'd, you ask?
1. Fill a holiday basket or bag full of goodies (goodies, books, stickers, decals, toys, etc)
2. Place "I've been Elf'd" printouts inside
3. Leave the basket on the doorstep of someone you know
4. The recipient opens the door and is delighted to find a basket full of goodies for their kids and receives instructions on how to continue to ELF other families
5. They will then place the "I've been Elf'd" printout in their front window so that other families know they have already received a basket.
6. Hopefully the "Elf'ing" continues throughout the month of December
We will prep and deliver holiday baskets the first part of December. The number of baskets we give away will be determined by the number of sponsors we receive, but our goal is to give out at least 5-10 baskets.
Who can sponsor?
Anyone! Any type of locally-owned business (retail, restaurant, gym, doctor's office, chiropractic clinic, etc.) that wants to help us spread joy is welcome to sign up as a sponsor.
How do I sponsor this elfin' fun?
All you need to do is:
1. Email amandaswank@macaronikid.com
2. Provide small promotional items (this can be anything from a freebie coupon to a small promo item) that you would like to share with families
3. Pay the sponsor fee:
It’s $100 to be a community sponsor. Community sponsors receive their logo and business name in each basket, a business listing on our website database, mentions in any publicity that goes out about the project, and at least one share on social media.
Premiere sponsorship is $250. This includes all of the above and a sponsored email for your business that can be used in the first quarter of 2025 to share information with our audience about your business.
Would you like to donate items without sponsoring?
If you are an individual or group and would like to donate to our holiday baskets, but not as a business sponsor, we would certainly appreciate it! We would gladly accept donations of candy, small toys, holiday-themed coloring books, etc. We will also recognize you/your group on social media (if you would like).
