The RP Funding Center will be hosting its 2nd Annual City of Lakeland Holiday Tree Decorating Contest as a fundraiser for United Way of Central Florida! UWCF’s mission is to improve lives and strengthen the community!
The community kick-off event will be held on Friday, November 20th from 6 pm to 8 pm. This event will have storytime with readings by United Way President & CEO Christina Criser Jackson and City Manager Shawn Sherrouse, coloring station, hot chocolate bar, reindeer food station, social distance photos with Santa, and performance by Harrison School For The Arts. The community is welcomed to view the trees in the corridors and vote during RPFC business hours: 9 am - 5 pm. Trees are on display Nov. 20 thru Dec. 31
The fun doesn’t stop there! There will be weekly Monday Story Time from 10 am - 10:30am hosted by the following City of Lakeland Staff:
