Car parades are a fun way to celebrate a birthday, graduation, anniversary, baby shower or any special event. While I love the idea of car parades I didn't care for the lack of things readily available to decorate my vehicle. Online shops have a wide variety items but are now taking much longer to arrive. Since many party supply stores have been closed I needed to get creative.
Banners are always a fun and easy craft. I decided to make a tassel banner because it felt festive. Materials for this craft are simple: 2 or 3 plastic tablecloths, rope/string/yarn, scissors, and measuring tape. For this tassel I picked bright colors to celebrate summer break. Before beginning measure the place where you plan on hanging the banner. My car window is 35 inches wide so I used 45 inch macrame rope as it was what I had on hand. The extra inches are useful when hanging the tassel banner.
This tassel banner is easy to make, requires very little time, is relatively inexpensive and looks amazing. I hope you enjoy making it as much as I did!
