My name is Maricarmen but I prefer to be called Mari (pronounced Mar-E). I have been married for 11 years and we have a soon to be 10 year old. I discovered Macaroni Kid when my son was 2-years-old. I was a stay-at-home mom and I was struggling to find things to do with him. Macaroni Kid was the perfect place to find events, activities, crafts and other things to keep us both entertained without costing us a lot of money. I joined the Macaroni Kid Family in 2014 by becoming an assistant to a publisher in Miami, Fl.
After living in South Florida for over 20 years we decided to relocate and find a smaller community that offered a variety of things to do. Being new to the area is exciting and slightly nerve wracking. However, I am thrilled to be able to help families find local things to do, places to visit and explore our new area together. I know what a great resource Macaroni Kid was for me and I aim to be that resource for all of you.
